Research Triangle Park, NC (Onsite) Rate – Open Positions – 1 Rate – $45/hr on W2 AND 60/hr on C2C We are seeking a certified Scrum Master with a strong understanding of security best practices and SOX (Sarbanes Oxley) compliance . The ideal candidate will facilitate Agile ceremonies, ensure team alignment, and work closely with security and compliance teams to ensure all deliverables meet regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams, facilitating daily stand ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews. Act as a servant leader and coach to Agile teams, promoting continuous improvement and Agile best practices. Collaborate with security teams to ensure development and operational practices align with organizational security policies. Ensure all processes and documentation comply with SOX requirements, especially around change management, access controls, and audit trails. Identify and mitigate risks related to compliance and security throughout the development lifecycle. Track and report on team metrics, sprint progress, and impediments. Coordinate with cross functional teams including product owners, QA, and infrastructure. Required Skills & Qualifications 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager. Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification. Strong understanding of SOX compliance in IT environments. Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and secure SDLC practices. Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills. Experience with Agile tools like JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps. Preferred Qualifications Experience in regulated industries such as finance, healthcare, or insurance. Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. Background in risk management or internal audit. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
