Job Description

Clinical Concierge Medical Assistant (MA-C) - Urgent Care Join Indigo Urgent Care, a MultiCare Company, as a Clinical Concierge Medical Assistant. This is a FLOAT position for our North Region Urgent Care Clinics. North Region: Redmond, Bellevue, Issaquah, Sammamish, Bothell, Kirkland, Mill Creek, Shoreline, Lake Stevens, and Marysville FTE: 0.9 • Shift: Day • Schedule: 8am-8pm (3 x 12-hour shifts) Overview The Clinical Concierge Medical Assistant is an opportunity to expand your role in health care by performing clinical tasks and coordinating patient care within the MA-C license scope. You will work in high collaboration with your team to ensure the best possible health care outcomes and patient experiences, supporting the unit through excellent patient service and clinic management assistance. Responsibilities Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, front office staff and clinic management to ensure comprehensive health care outcomes. Perform a variety of functions within the clinic setting requiring specialized knowledge and integration of available standards, resources, and data. Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds. Create and provide a safe and supportive environment for patients. Requirements Washington State Requirements Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) Current BLS Certification or may be obtained through an in-house training program, depending on assignment Minimum one (1) year experience in a physician's office or other medical facility preferred Exceptions may be made for applicants currently in an externship or residency program with an active or pending WA DOH MA-R certification within 7 days of hire; WA MA-C license within 45 days of hire Idaho State Requirements Current CMA certification by AAMA, NHA or NCCT WA state MA-C license, or WA state MA-R license required with endorsement by Indigo within the first 30 days of employment Current BLS Certification or may be obtained through an in-house training program, depending on assignment Minimum one (1) year experience in a physician's office or other medical facility preferred Exceptions may be made for applicants currently in an externship or residency program with an active or pending WA DOH MA-R certification within 7 days of hire Benefits & Pay Unique earning potential in addition to base rate: Up to $7,500 sign-on incentive for external candidates including new grads and experienced medical assistants

  • 2.50/hour Indigo Premium on top of base rate for all hours worked
  • 1.75/hour X-Ray Certification Premium on top of base rate for employees who become trained and certified in X-Ray
  • 1.25/hour Weekend Differential for weekend shifts
