Job Description

The Charlotte Checkers , the AHL affiliate of the Florida Panthers, are looking for a creative, driven, and detail-oriented Graphic Design Intern to join our marketing and creative services team. This hybrid position offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience designing for a fast-paced professional sports organization while building a standout portfolio.

This has the potential to be a fully hybrid role - however, it is preferred that the Intern would be able to work in office and game days. This intern will report to the Creative Services Manager.

What You'll Do

• Assist the creative team in designing digital, print, and social media materials that support team marketing, promotions, and community initiatives.
• Create engaging graphics for game days, events, email campaigns, and sponsorship activations.
• Help maintain brand consistency across all visual assets.
• Collaborate with the marketing, social media, and content teams to bring creative ideas to life.
• Support on-site during home games and select events as needed.

What We're Looking For

• Current student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) required; experience with After Effects or Canva a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, creativity, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Passion for sports, design, and the Checkers brand!
• Must be available to work a hybrid schedule (some in-office days required).
