We are looking for a Power BI Developer to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland. This is a hybrid remote position. Candidates who are in the Washington DC/Baltimore metro area are preferred. The anticipated project start date in in two to three months. This is a direct hire. No C2C or third party please.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Microsoft Power BI education data reports and dashboards to be published in a public-facing website.
• Receive data collections and data elements and load the data into the Power BI data inventory.
• Develop guidelines for dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
• Perform data analysis based on data reporting guidelines.
• Create complex reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop report archives for historical reference and long-term, secure storage and retention.
• Develop report and dashboard templates in accordance with branding initiatives.
• Analyze data received from various agencies and transform the data to meet the business and technical needs of the end-user.
• Upload data into the Power BI application and perform data validation.
• Ensure data accuracy and completeness.
• Adhere to data security and privacy best practices.
• Perform data quality checks to validate data accuracy.
• Provide weekly status reports which include, but are not limited to, Tasks Completed, Tasks Planned, Risks/Issues.
• Perform other duties if needed.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Power BI.
• Must be available to work onsite if required.
• K12 education experience is preferred.
• State and/or federal reporting experience based on data from an educational setting is preferred.
