We have an exciting Project Manager opportunity in Austin. This is a long term (12+ months) contract role. The successful candidate will be responsible for Project Management of a variety of projects in the Customer Renewable Solutions work group. As well as being responsible for the planning, coordination, requirements gathering, business analysis, specifications development, project planning, project monitoring, project status reporting, and system implementation of moderate to complex business solutions pertaining to existing renewable energy programs and renewable energy programs currently under development.
Required Skills
4-7 years of experience implementing technical projects and leading diverse project teams
4-7 years of experience in project procurement / RFP development / bid evaluation
4-7 years of experience applying project management techniques, WBS (work breakdown structure) development, and coordination of people and resources
4-7 years of experience in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Visio, and Teams
4-7 years of experience in change management methodologies
4-7 years of experience in presenting to multiple levels within an organization
Preferences:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI
3 years of experience leading projects related to energy
3 years of experience in developing and managing remote teams
3 years of experience with utility business practices and relevant business needs
3 years of experience with working with a government entity
