As a Security Officer - Hospital Patrol Detail in Wexford, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned healthcare locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming environment for all. You will conduct regular patrols, remain visible throughout the hospital, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to staff, patients, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the healthcare environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential security-related concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols within the healthcare location.
• Collaborate with staff and visitors to address questions or concerns regarding security-related matters and provide assistance when needed.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and helping to manage visitor flow in accordance with site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be willing to receive all required hospital vaccinations.
• Must be able to work in hospital environments that include exposure to the morgue.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must be able to safely restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
