Vannguard Utility Partners, Inc. is recruiting Underground Utility Locator candidates for a rewarding career. The role involves driving a company vehicle to job sites and using computer utility maps and specialized equipment to locate underground cables, pipes, and other utilities to prevent damage and ensure safety during excavation, landscaping, and construction projects. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Drive a company vehicle directly from home to job sites in response to routine ticket requests, emergencies, and relocations. Utilize provided mapping tools and locating equipment to find underground utilities, including electric, gas, telephone, and other communication lines. Indicate utility locations using paint, flags, and communicate relevant information to excavation personnel or other authorities. Respond to after‑hours emergency call‑outs according to the established rotation schedule. The role is open to military‑experienced candidates and encourages applicants from all backgrounds. The position is outdoors with minimal contact with others. Salary: $19.00 to $24.00 per hour DOE (dependent on experience). Overtime and other compensation are provided as applicable.
