Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. Base pay range $18.00/hr - $28.00/hr Minimum Requirements No experience required. A strong work ethic, ability to come to work every day, and ability to take direction and training. Paid training will be provided. Acceptable driving record. A background check will be conducted prior to employment. Must pass a pre‑employment drug screening. Able to work outside in all weather. Familiarity with computers and ability to navigate a computer file system. Good written and oral communication skills. Able to participate in a 24‑hour, on‑call rotation. Demonstrate the ability to prioritize work and meet daily deadlines. Successfully complete our in‑house training program. Able to walk on varying terrain, including roadside and construction areas. Able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally to access manholes and valve pits. Work Description Work hours: 7 AM – approx. 4 PM, Monday through Friday. Weekend and after‑hours work will be required as needed. Will work independently throughout the day. Utility locating technicians respond to utility marking requests (tickets) sent via the State One Call System on behalf of our utility customers. Daily interaction with homeowners, excavators, and utility personnel. Locators access the marking requests via an internet‑enabled laptop computer and interpret records to accurately mark the horizontal location of underground facilities. Proper documentation of the performed marking is entered into the online ticket management system. Additionally, the locator must adhere to company policies and customer regulations. Compensation Wages are based on individual experience. Medical and dental insurance are provided after 90 days for new hires. Company vehicle available for daily use. Bonus programs can increase earnings by $2,000 annually. 401(k) participation is available after 90 days of continuous service. Job type: Full‑time. Benefit Conditions Waiting period may apply.
