As a Financial Representative Trainee, you will embark on a detailed training journey that equips you with the essential skills to excel in selling Individual Insurance products and developing a thriving financial practice.

YOUR ROLE:

  • Engage in a comprehensive program to develop skills necessary for providing holistic financial advice to clients, contributing to discussions, and participating in goal-setting sessions.
  • Gain invaluable direct sales experience by marketing Individual Insurance products to clients and successfully passing a sales competency test.
  • Develop and sustain prospecting skills including research, targeting, networking, and communication through personal networks, community events, and social media.
  • Gain a deep understanding of our product offerings to demonstrate expertise in their features and benefits.
  • Manage the completion of documentation, proposals, and paperwork flow to ensure a seamless application and underwriting process.

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • Successfully complete all trainee program requirements, acquiring the skills necessary to excel.
  • Obtain the required insurance licenses before starting the job, with up to two attempts allowed for the Life and Health exam.
  • Pass the CRD/FINRA background check at hire and maintain it, with securities licensing required within 24 months of entering the program.
  • Be highly self-motivated and results-focused, able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, hold a valid U.S. driver's license, and have reliable transportation for meetings and appointments.
  • Promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, valuing different perspectives, and listening actively while remaining open to new ideas.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Familiarity with the Insurance/Financial Services industry, including products and marketing practices.
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
