Job Description The Exhibitor Design Specialist will design and implement floorplans for assigned Art and Beauty events as well as support on other South Florida events dependent upon availability, and other miscellaneous plans as needed.
Role Accountability and Duties :
Design & Implement Site plan for assigned fair - Assist with floor planning and event plans
- Maintain building/fire code compliance
- Provide booth grids and adjust per requests
- Identify special construction issues
- Provide updated plans to staff/vendors as needed
- Provide Inventory counts for each plan
- Provide design advice to ES to share with galleries
- Design Special Projects & other plans as needed
Operations/ES Support - Work with ES on revenue add-on opportunities
- Order all special requests: carpet/special flooring, paint, pedestals, etc.
- Order booth and office furniture
- Order stanchions, scooters, wheelchairs
On-site - Monitor fair build through different phases
- Work with ES to update booth plans with onsite orders
- All counts at start of fair and end of fair with vendor
- Photos of all components of fair
- Build relationships with clients
- Serve as zone leader or assist with special projects and on-site tasks as needed
- Conduct wall and light audits
Post Fair - Update booth and overall site plan
- Catalog all photos
- Update all final counts
- Ensure all rented items are located and picked up
Qualifications - Experience establishing external relationships with partners, vendors and clients, alike.
- Must be a strong collaborator, working well with many types of personalities.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience with Google Docs, AutoCAD, InDesign and Photoshop
- Ability to travel to site locations
