Insight Global is seeking a local contract Pharmacy Technician for a local contract job in San Antonio, Texas.
Insight Global is looking for an Admixture Technician local to San Antonio, TX to join an oncology client. This is a larger clinic with approximately 100-150 patients receiving treatment daily. Some responsibilities of this candidate would include preparing medication orders by compounding or admixing medications under the supervision of a Physicians. They would start each day by prepping bags and admixing chemotherapy and immune therapy medications. They would verify patients' information and proper physician authorization. Check all orders for insurance approval before admixing. Calculate correct dosage volumes. Count controlled drugs weekly and updating records. Restock supplies as needed throughout the day.
